Breakfast Bowl
Ah yes! My favorite new breakfast treat when I am not rushing out the door to work, smoothie dripping in my wake...So delicious, versatile, and filling! Here is the basics of my favorite bowl, but feel free to add whatever you like!
SUPPLIES:
- 1 Acai Pack (This is what they look like. Find them in the freezer section of the store near the frozen fruit. Make sure you get the PURE UNSWEETENED variety :)
- 1 c frozen or fresh berries of your choice
- 1 c spinach (I promise you won't taste it)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or nut butter
- 3 tbsp raw oats
- 1 banana (to thicken. I hate bananas so I don't add this, but most people do)
- Unsweetened protein or superfood powder (Ask me about my fave.) (Optional)
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds (optional)
- Handful of ice cubes
- Water to thin out a bit (Add until you get desired consistency)
METHOD:
Put all ingredients in the blender adding the water as you go. Blend until smooth. Pour in a bowl and put on toppings!! Here are some ideas:
- More Oats
- Cacao Nibs
- Raw almonds or cashew
- Nut Butter
- Unsweetened Coconut
- Goji Berries
- Sunflower Seeds
- Flax Seeds
